A meet-up IRL 2008

Again we make plans to meet up at the Texas Renaissance Festival near Houston. This year we will be going the second week of November, arriving Friday night Nov 7 and staying through until Sunday day, Nov 9. The theme for the faire this weekend is Toga Party, but as usually no one is required to dress up. Anyone that's been there before knows the fare - fast food, loose booze, cheap women....uh....something like that.

But it's a lot of fun, and this year it sounds like a dozen so far are going to attend, linkshell buddies past and present, and friends are welcome. I'll be there Friday night, again I'll look for something near the camp fire, but not to near that damn movie guy that blares Highlander movies until 5 in the morning. Fun for all, I hope to see everyone there!

Vade and I will be going on the 22nd this year, so we won't be able to make it on the 7th. Maybe you could go on that weekend instead?

You know, I've been invited to 3 different weekends for renfest this year. If I could afford it I would go to all 3, I love the Renaissance Festival! However, I can barely afford to go even once this year.

Somehow, Neph plans to go to ren fest every year on the A&M-OU game. :( But as Takk said, we have plans for about 10 of us going on the weekend of the 22nd. Have fun guys, and I hope to see you out there on the 22nd as well :)

In case anyone was wondering, I have no excuse not to be there this year. Sari has said I shouldn't plan on surviving the weekend, so this may be your one and only chance to see the Moli :)

Very excellent! I wish everyone could all get together on one weekend, though. Hopefully next year we'll get it straight. I got an idea. How about you post now what next year's A&M OU game is so we have a year's notice what day to plan for?

I have accepted a job that I start next July. Woo full time position. So it'll depend more of when I can take a possible day off than the A&M game since I won't be obligated to go to them anymore. I doubt I'll have season tickets next year.
