Sari and I were talking about the next get together and thinking maybe sometime around Spring Break for you college types. I understand it's somewhere around mid-March.
Let us know if you're interested and which weekend would be best - March 14 or March 21.
Also, we had talked about having this one in College Station, since that's more centrally located for the group. Thoughts?
Willing to host. Slept 11 people in my apartment last weekend. Plenty of couch space.

No one can pour your beers with the same "love and affection" that I can sari. I always make sure to add a little of myself to every drink i pour :)

I would fly into Houston and catch a ride to C.S. I think the portal jet adds another 50-80 bucks. And are you riding Continental ?

Find out the weekend, and I'll try and arrange to go. I normally have Sunday/Monday night off, but I can try and switch my days...I'll just need 2 weeks notice to do it.

I have extra pillows and blankets...I should have put them out before I started drinking. Wasn't all there by the end of the night, hehe.

BTW, there has been some mention of trying out a D&D type game at our next get together. So bring your dice if you have them and pens, pencils, etc.
I'm going to suggest March 14th, since no one has expressed a preference yet. Any objections?
First weekend works best imo.

I always believed you only needed three things for DND. A Players Handbook, a DM Guide, and a Monster Manual.
But actually Scott and I discussed for a few moments the thought of getting the Galactica Game and the Stargate Game, and maybe winging one of those types of games. Dunno, I need to order the Stargate Handbook, and I think we don't have a copy of Galactica yet either. Just a thought.

I dont know if I'll be able to make it now. I was booked to bartend a large event which will pay me to much to not do it.
And I need to save up to fly home to Alaska. My aunt was recently treated for pancreatic cancer and is now having liver failure.

There is a slim possibility i'll be in san antonio around that time. if i do happen to be i could see about detouring to houston before i head out to albuquerque to see an old friend. I dunno when I'll be out that way though. It'll be sometime between march and august so i honestly don't know when it will be.
This still happening? If so I still have to clean up a bit >.>

I believe the correct term would be jigai and I won't because Sari promised me money and I haven't seen the coin yet.

JR, do you have cable with a cable box? Cause if you do, then your provider should offer Sci-Fi on Demand. Here's it's on the "On The Edge - On Demand", and BSG comes on as early as midnight that night to watch On Demand.

We have On Demand, but I'm not sure it has Sci-Fi on it. It's no problem DVRing it. The only thing good about Suddenlink Cable...is that they have Sci-Fi HD. Otherwise it sucks lol. I have my cable box on series recording for BSG so we can have that to watch among other things to do.

Sari and I will be unable to make the gathering this weekend. We had a major project come in late yesterday that's due Tuesday and will be working over the weekend to get it in on time.
That means that the rest of you must play and/or drink more to make up the difference. *hugs*
Just a reminder: Me and Jawat have these special event items that need to be used by the end of the month, if anyone wants to participate in them at the LAN party.
Ummm, looks like it's just me and Takk lol. Aneko and Shido can't make it..and I haven't talked to Kaeyana. It's fine, Takk and I haven't had a weekend to play games in a long time. :D

I just might - the wife and kids are still in Arizona for another week (I had to get back after 2 weeks for work stuff, they get almost 4 weeks) so I have no obligations.
'course, since I've been on vacation I haven't played in a while, so I'm still only 64blm... but fun and (presumably) beer is enough to make me perk up
