um Ahnold, theres kinda a point to only residents of the U.S. can only be eligable for the presidency, kinda because you could have been brought up to be um lets say you were grown up by some terrorist organization and getting a chance at presidency would kinda throw us into turmoil. Thats why it was set in that fashion lol :pointnlaf

Laws, and especially constitutional ammendments, should NEVER be made to serve the interests of a specific individual, unless those interests coincide with the interests of the public good.
Giving Arnold the ability to be President doesn't help anyone else besides Arnold. As much as I like the guy, that's how I view it.

lol, but what if the majority of people think having Arnold as pres is in their best interest? I mean, ya already have Bush :D

The will of the majority doesn't dictate good law :)
Look at the fight in FLA with the disabled and mentally brain-dead woman whose parents insist that she can recover with therapy, but whose husband insists she would not want to live in such a disabled manner. Doctors have given her no hope for recovery.
Well, the family so publicized the issue, that all of FLA screamed "NO don't let this poor disabled woman die!" Since it was such a hot political issue, the FLA legislatures wrote a LAW that granted governor Jeb Bush the right to order her feeding tube replaced, after the husband ordered it removed, so she could be allowed to die.
The majority decided that the governor suddenly has the right to supercede the authority of your family members (and even court-appointed neutral guardians) to make decisions about your health?
The majority of Americans also think that Gay Marriage shouldn't be allowed to occurr. I think that is a similar mistake where simply because the majority believes it, doesn't make it right, but we'll see where that issue ends up :)
To sum up, what the majority believes or wants is not always right. Especially in matters of law.

We'll have to see what happens in 2008.
I would happy to ratify the constitution to allow someone America can agree on into the Oval Office than to allow another mistake like Bush from ever happening again. Then again, that may well just be my love of the movie Demolition Man talking.

As long as we never figure out what the whole "3 Seashell" thing is
LOL on a sub-sub topic!!
Orz!!!orzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I was in a Party last night with 4 JPN players. One of the Japanese players was bilingual and spoke things to both "sides" of our language group. It was really amusing. She would say something to us in English, then say the same thing in Kanji. It was very cool
ANYWAYS she was saying "Orz" all the time.. and I just didn't get it!
There wasn't anyone in our party named "Orz" but she kept referring to it. Finally I asked her, and she used symbols to put it in and after a couple of minutes of thinking I finally got it. :)

Floridas governor is named Jeb? *snicker*
All kidding aside though, yeah I was just making a little smart remark earlier about Bush, hehe, and you are definitely right about the majority not necessarily being right. Personally, I think that as a large group people are more likely to be wrong and make stupid decisions, mob mentality, in big groups alot just jump on the band wagon and go along with others.
Oh, and yeah, Demolition Man rocked. But then again I like alot of Stallone Movies, Rocky 4, best boxing movie imo.
Edit: Oh, and, what is Orz?
