Hullo. I know Dulche, Ranvarin, Darkculex and Valqroma need to get papyrus, and a lot more of you need the Bomb Coal and Exoray Mold. I was thinking we could set up another run for this. I'm mostly suggesting this because I'm tired of farming and I want Dulche and Ranvarin to catch up so I can get some friggin xp :crazed: I'll help! Let me know if you're interested.

So-So interested myself. I've been leveling my sub a bit, but when I get back to this, I was going to join an exp party (I'm only at level 49) to hunt Exorays, for exp while looking for a Mold. If I don't get one well before I get to the point of capping exp, then I would most certain want a little assistance. But from what I've seen, the Mold isn't that hard to get. But I haven't heard the first freakin thing about the Bomb Coal, yet. Just that everyone says its totally easy.

Bomb coal is a guaranteed drop. You get one every time you kill one of those bombs. The only problem is that they have that self-destruct ability, so if you don't kill them fast enough you're pretty much sure to have a death or two. When I went, we had 3 black mages that nuked Fire and Fire II (yes folks, bombs are weak to fire) so there wasn't much time for the bomb to pull off self-destruct. Exoray mold is considered easy because most groups around lvl 47-50 will use those for xp specifically for the mold. It takes time to get the drop, but not nearly as much time as papyrus takes.

The only hard part about going with an alliance is getting to the Bombs. So much aggro. If you get a PT started, tell everyone to buy some Silent Oils. It will make things a lot easier.

If there is a BST who can charm the nearby creatures to fight the bomb then that is the easiest and safest way to get the drop. There are usually plenty of bombs and it always drops at least one (sometimes more) coal.
