Alright, I've always noticed ppl asking in the LS what fame goes w/ what SMN, who to get it from, what city, etc, etc. So I'm gonna put what i know in this, and anyone w/ any other info that i dont have, is free to add to it ^^.

Bastok + Sandoria = Selbina = Rabao
*Fame built in selbina will add to Bastok or Sandoria depending which one u have less of. Keep this in mind when you have max fame in one, and need the other.

Windurst = Mhura = Kazham
*I dont have too much experience in these areas, b/c i havnt started questing alot there. But I'm positive thats how they link.

Not to sure about norg, but Leviathan is through Tenshodo*(what ever its called) fame.

Just wanted to let ppl know the fastest way I've found out to get fame, as mostly told to me by you guys ;)

I found that getting to lvl 7 fame in each city major city, not including jeuno (fame starting at 1 and maxed at 9) gave me all the avatar quests but of course leviathan....oh how i hate you beads!!!

Bastok: Repeatable quest of course. :p
Title of quest: "Gourmet"
NPC: Salimah (Bastok Markets L-8)
What I used was treant bulbs since they are cheap cheap cheap. She also takes Wild Onions and Sleepshrooms for more money.
She will give you 100gil for each one you turn in to her (200 from 6am-noon)
You will have to zone each time (Mines is closest)
This took me about 8 stacks to get my fame to lvl 7

San d'Oria: Repeatable again
Title of Quest: "Fear of the Dark"
NPC: Secodiand (N. San d'Oria F-6)
Lots and lots of bat wings...dont through them away until you get your fame here.
He will give you 200 for 2 bat wings, bad thing is ppl in Sandy's AH charge way too much, so try to buy them someone else first, or farm them.
I was a fool and bought mine in the Sandy AH, and spend a ton of money.
It took me about 15-18 stacks to get my fame!!! and if you have this much fame, do yourself a favor and get the drain scroll and sell it!!!

Windurst: Repeatable again
Title of Quest: "Something Fishy"
NPC: Tokaka (Port Windurst C-8)
I can't believe I forgot about this quest for this long. No need to farm those darn beehive chips! If you have some time and wanna improve low lvl fishing, just grab a pole and some lugworms and fish next to this guy. whenever you have a ton of Bastore Sardines, trade him 1 fish, zone to waters, then repeat! If you don't feel like fishing, simply buy as many stacks from the fishing shop beside Tokaka, and when they run out, hit up the AH. You will get back 70gil for each fish. I can't say how many stacks it will take, since i had lvl 6 fame before I remembered this quest.
And one more thing, dont forget to get your Aspir quest done in Waters when you have your fame :)

This should give you enough fame for all the avatars besides leviathan, and we all know its beads beads beads, or ore ore ore for him.

Update on leta quest guide, you can take care of Sandy and Bastok fame at the same time with minimal gil loss. Selbina quests effect both Bastok and Sandoria. Farming in pashow not only gets you lots of nice goodies to sell on AH, but also Bohyoda moss. Quest in selbina for moss is repeatable and gets you 600 gil per moss. You can usually find singles of moss on AH for 600 gil, you can buy stacks for 8,000 gil. Buying the stacks makes you lose 800 gil per stack turn in, but this is a minimal loss for quick fame gain ^^

Actually, an even easier way w/ little gil loss is to turn in LaThane Cabbages x5. they can be bought at a vendor in what ever city owns the region as selbina. they normally go for about 12 a piece.
