Anyone like Street Fighter kinda style with anime and cosplay? Give this game a try. It's called Super Cosplay War Ultra.

Along with the game, there's a picture with all the move list of each character and what they cosplay as. Just to name a few...VIRTUAL ON!!!!, Resident Evil, Getter Robot, Shin Getter Robot, Naruto, Gaogaigar, Mazinger Z, and Evangelion (sick and kinda hilarious!!). You'll also see non playable characters in the background like Cloud Strife, Vash (trigun), Chi (chobits) and alot more ^^;

My favortite character in the game is Dido as she Cosplays mostly Virtual On Series characters ^^v

The game is simple in terms of button configuration too, punch, kick, launcher, throw.

I'm also playing two more freeware fighting game
ValkryeFight and ValkryeFight tag....
Both are the same game cept the tag version has tag team battle and more characters and all of them are from Valkrye Profile (PS)

This is an extremely well made game, even a very awsome soundtrack to boot...

It's like 250 megs and may require you to register AND may have some downloading issues so you might want to use programs like "getright" to resume downloaing. Oh here's another funny SC, does it remind you of another Anime? Yes, his head pops off too....

I can't figure out how to do anything, lol. I know the keys are a-s-d and q-w-e but I have no idea what they do. Everything in the keyboard setup menu says ????....

Here's the button Layout.

I'm also in the process in figuring out the Option poriton of it too. Sometimes the Option menu won't show up. I'm trying to figure out why but if you need to modify some settings, there's an ini file that pretty much is self explanatory.

Also I know there's a way to reset the game w/o closing the program as I've done it a few times. All i know is that it involves the pause button and another button.

The fighting system is fairly easy to learn actually.

-->P \ P -->P --> Special move
-->K / K -->K --> Special move

So you can start with a punch attack, go Punch or Kick for second attack, and then finish with the same button. In the directory you installed the game in, there's a gif file that has all the move list of each character...

Unfortunately this is the final version so net play isn't implemented in this game. That would be awsome though. Lol Takk read the post with the button layouts, there's a Gif file with moves and such.

I tried to post the Gif files but they're too big...

Oh and the extra characters will only play in Battle Royale

Lol Takk wait til you get to some of the bosses, they are EXTREMELY HARD and EXTREMELY unbalanced =P

Getright is a little iffy, besure to have it autoretry like a million times and when it is done downloading, be sure the file is roughly 240ish MB. Getright retries by default like 10 times a believe. When I downloaded this with netants, i got like 20some errors and I set my auto retry to infinite.

EDIT: It also looks like you don't need to register to download. I did get disconnected prematurely, which is kinda normal anyways.

This game does support controller too.. might save you the headache of trying to do half circle / quarter circle moves on the keyboard lol

lol it's not too bad to pull off but is even harder when you need to do it twice for a super move. or try doing a quarter circle forward then half circle back move on a keyboard o.O or try a double half circle... :goofyfear

I have a controller that's just like a PS2 controller that I tried using for this. It will only let me use the mini joystick thing though and not the control pad. I've found that it's actually easier to use the keyboard for those combos than that stupid controller joystick. ><

I'm using a USB adapter that uses a PS/PS2 controller that i'm about to toss into the garbage because I keep getting unknown device when I plug it in. I also don't play with the PS2 controller as I hate that "ALL ANALOG" thing with these types of games.

I gotta use the controller if I wanna do some really neat combos w/special attacks or juggling w/special.

If you are looking for a new controller, I recommend the Nyko Air Flo controller. The rubber grip is really comfortable and the air flo part keeps your hands from sticking to the rubber or getting sweaty, it's very nice. ^^d

Oh found out something neat last night...

If you play Battle Royale or fighting in a Battle Royale style stage, you get get an insane amount of health back if you finish your opponent with a multi hit special attack. You basically get a chunk of health back when you KO your opponent and if you're still hitting then after wards, you get more health. It's especially good if you're running VERY low on health.

Like if you use DIDO's Raiden Laser beam attack, that's a 22 hit attack if they're still alive and 5 hit if used to KO, so you'll get your health back for each of those additional hits.

Controller wise, I've heard ok things about the controller but I'll give it a try if mine. Most of the bad things I hear about it is that the fan either dies easily or does not draw/get enough power to work the fan. This usually happens if you're directly connecting to a onboard USB and not a powered USB hub. Now that I mentioned it... That might be why my current adapter is not working too well on my laptop but working so well on my USB hub on my PC....

I got another one that I'm kinda...sorta playing. It's Valkryefight & Valkryetag.
It's a fighting game as well and it uses characters from Valkrye Profile. It's very unbalanced though and can swing both ways making the game extremely easy at times...

I haven't had a problem with a fan, and it is directly connected to my usb. The fan probably will burn up if you leave it on, but that shouldn't be a problem if you just turn it off when you're done playing (there is a switch on it for off-low-hi power, I always just use low, works fine).

And yes, you did get me addicted. I suck at it, but I'm still addicted.

Found out how to reset the game w/o actually having to close the program.

Kick+launch+no use button (the bottom one) = reset

Honestly I have no idea why it wouldn't run, maybe just a bad download & try redownloading it? It could also be a weird problem with video card drivers, try getting Omega drivers. I remember when I dug up Worms: Armagedon I couldn't get it to run, so I tried installing Omega drivers and that fixed it. Those are the only two things I can think of...

Getting back to your problem, I have no idea what would be causing it. I've already tried this on 5 systems and they all worked in different hardware configuraiton. 4 XP systems and one 2000 Pro system.

If i'm guess right, sometihng like a "dos" window with no entry inside and a black background pops up and immediatly disappears usually mean your exe file is corrupted and i'm afraid to say that you might have to download it again.
