Help 4 RNG AF3 for Darkwraith, Vilebird, Pulverise & Myrjala

Heya all you beautiful people ^^ Looking For fellow Ls Members to help with RNG AF3 in near future, exact time is unsure atm, wanna make sure anyone that needs RNG AF3 is availible for the date and time me set. Hope fully try to set something up for this weekend or next weekend, i will Update thread as soon as a talk to VIlebird, Pulverise and Myrjala.

Here is a walkthrough for Ranger AF3 - copied from Allakhazam.

Is it possible to do this Sunday Evening? I will have a lot of free time at that juncture. Also, if you fellow Rangers would like, we can organize a Garliage Citadel Cofferr key hunt - because that is the next phase for Ranger AF4.

The Armor

Enhances "Scavenge" effect


Ok, after putting it off for like 2 months, I'm finally going to get this part done. XD

The Conditions

Have to be at least level 50, and you need to have completed RNG AF2.

The Quest

To start this quest off, you have to go to Perih Vashal in Windurst Woods (same NPC you talk to for other AF pieces and to get the RNG quest), and you'll end up being directed to Mhuara. There you will go into what I think was either the Goldsmithing or Smithing Guild and talk to the Mithra NPC in the shop. You will have to trade her a Gold Earring, which ranges from 50-80k on the AH for most servers. Once that is done, you will be told to go to Xarcabard where you will fight the NM Tiger Koenigstiger.

This NM uses Paralyzga, Dispelga, Graviga, along with a few other really nasty spells. He has 21000 HP along with rather low evasion and moderate defense. It is recommened to have an alliance of 12-18 level 60's to safely beat this NM, and I agree. I've fought it 6 times now, and each time we had a full alliance of people ranging from level 55 to 70, and there were still a few occasions we ran into trouble.

The place you spawn him is close to the entrance of Castle Zvahl, in a cave on the right side of the path going up to the castle if you're facing towards the castle. There will be a ???, and you will get a small cut-scene followed by the NM running out of the cave after you examine it. Once it is defeated, head to the opposite side of the pathway leading to the castle and you'll see another cave with a ??? in it. Examine it, and you'll get a cut-scene. Once it is done you can examine it again and obtain 99x Ice Arrows (I'd rather have 99 PPA's ; ;).

Then, you just go back to Perih Vashal in Windurst for one final cut-scene, and you're finsihed. "(Insert name here) obtains the Hunter's Socks."

If we have multiple Rangers in the party, does that mean that we have to kill the NM once for everyone, since clicking the ??? gives you a cutscene and spawns the NM?

Yes, when we did Tauri's we had another rng with us so we had to kill it twice.

eeek, 13th feb? Valentine's day the next day, i doubt if my gf will even let me get on the night before ^^; Might need [Sneak] [Invisible] and [Deodorizer] to avoid aggro beforehand :frustrate

Opiejab - I seriously pray that you do NOT have to Scavenge for 2 1/2 hours like I did for Ranger AF2.

I'd offer to help, but you can do it solo with Tonko/Sneak Oils, or a WHM to Sneak/Invis you. All the mobs up there are DC to me, so unless 2 or 3 others were there I wouldn't be much aid.

If you consider doing AF2 solo, also bring some Sleep Arrows for the Yaguda in Castle Oz. You may have to kill a couple of them to get past the doors if no one else is around. With Sleep arrows you can solo them easily.

Ok Vilebird has alrdy completed his RNG AF3 so time does not matter on him, but he said that he would help us with his BLM, Now the 5pm EST that Myrjala was referring to i hope was for the 13th cause then that is fine for me also..... just lemme no ne details ^^
