Typing in Japanese

For anyone interested in being able to type in Japanese, check out this link (http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=2000139&topic=14489492). Keep in mind that you would actually be playing the Japanese version of the game, so the menus and such would be in Japanese as well.

Hmm, I posted this a long time ago, it looks like the link isn't active anymore. I think basically what it said was to download the JP version of POL and modify a registry file or two.

That and I would imagine most of us do not know Japanese characters and probably do not have Japanese keyboards (except Palegod, I know he has one)

You don't need a different keyboard. The US keyboards work just fine. :)

It's pretty interesting, but again next to impossible to read for me.
It's weird how you input the JPN characters, you start typing and it comes out in the English but after you string certain letters together, it becomes Japanese symbols.

Fun, but fairly usless unless you can read Japanese.

EDIT: hmm I changed my mind, I don't think I will do this. I don't want to download updates twice...and plus I will have no idea what to do once I'm in the game and everything is in Japanese...
