PM4-3: Sacrarium

I'm going to get a bit ahead of myself. :) Although many people will tell me what assumptions will get me, I'm going to assume that Thursday (and/or Friday) night we will have forced Ouryu to flee in the night. Next up on the {sea} train is the Sacrarium. I'm plotting this down for Saturday at noon PDT / 3pm EDT, going to when Dynamis starts at 5/8.

Eadrick will be joining us late, it can't be avoided due to his work schedule. He will be hooking up with us around 2pm PDT.

Amaryssa and Drashogar both have spare Coral keys on them, which will allow us to have this accelerated pace. Thank you!

The plan is to go in, and kill Keremet for his Sealion's Den key. Then we will casually farm Fomors until Eadrick gets here, for subligaria, and once Ead logs on and hooks up we'll go use the keys and hunt down ol' Professor and move forwards through the PM.

Bring sneak oils of course. Like the aquaducts, the only sight aggro is True Sight.

Okay, bad idea on my part. Apparently Professor spawns in a room -full- of IT Fomor. Fighting Professor + Pupils + IT Fomor = Bad Thing(tm).

Please clear your Fomor hate down to level 2 or less per the link above, before we gather for Sacrarium. At level 2, you will not get aggro, even if unsneaked. Blood aggro may still be a possibility, but let's burn that bridge when we come to it.

If anyone still has hate above level 2 after Keremet is toasted, we'll work on slaughtering orcs en masse to get hate further down while waiting for Eadrick.

I don't even know where sacrarium is! I'll be mindlessly slaughtering some orcs while LFG to reduce teh hate in the meantime this week.

Haven't been picking on any poor Fomors so I'll be safe but I'll check to make sure. Tonberries on the other hand... you might not want me around XD. One tried to stab me below the belt and I wasn't happy since...

If we have time after the professor is dead, we can do subligar hunting in the time between professor's death and dynamis.

Ead, the Sacrarium is the Dilapidated Gate at the very northernmost point of Mis. Coast. By the waterfall.

Killing Keremet seems to generate a fair amount of formor hate by itself. Doing this mission in parts with breaks to kill orc and giga is a good thing. Do the 'formor hate test' (ie drop sneak in front of a formor and see if it attacks) before you go on to the Professor.

Ahhhhhhh I'm posting here !!!

Ok anyway. Just thought I'd offer a few tips I've learned through my -multiple- attempts at the mission. (for me, this one seems much harder than Ouryu).

1. The Professor can, although it may be troublesome, be pulled to where the Too Weak Skeletons are (the Azerns that follow Keremet when Keremet gets popped). This makes some TP attack when he Binds+ Warps (and auto-targets the closest mob, which if its an Azern, can be killed with super ease).

2. Turn Auto-target off while fighitng Professor Ghostman. Provided you don't pull him back, theres another TP atack that could -accidentally- make you target a Fomor -and attack it-.
I am unable to remember the namesof these moves, sadly

I can probably come to this event. I have dynamis after but I have the sealion's crest key. I love killing Fomors, especially in sac. BLM or RDM 50+.

P.S. The 2 TP attacks I mentioned earlier are one in the same, I believe its called Ectosmash. It's similar to a Bind MPK. Leave it to SE to do something like that.

Post deleted, null and void now, I'll be on around 3:15 CST or so and I have logged out in Sacrarium (or right outside it) with all gear and oils and such.

So ... ya, I had to duck out kinda early ><. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody with one of the keys would like to help me get that cutscene at the locked doors ... I don't anticipate being on for a long time this week, except to static (midterms week after next), however, I could log on if I could set up a date in which we could go. Or... we could organize a subligar hunt... (dunno how much of that you did after I left). Dunno what to do, however, I want to try to catch back up to you guys we can get going on 5-1 ^^
