Trying to keep with items and receipes might become a full time job, and already there are sites with pretty good information about this. What I do find lacking are detailed information on AF quests. As many people know, KillingIfrit is very popular because it was the first place to grab a babble fish translation of AF quests from JPN sites. However, much of their information is outdated or plainly wrong.

What people might find useful are accurate and detailed descriptions on AF quests. Currently, a lot of the information can be found buried in various discussion forums. We should provide a good write-up of the quests if we want to distinguish our site from other LS/FFXI sites.

Also, a chart of the days-of-the-week, what is strong/weak for crafting on those days, monster weaknesses against which elements, etc. are all useful information. A lot of this are already available online but they are scattered.

I do intend to create pages with details on AF quests and AF2 quests, but I really don't think it's something I can create yet. For one, My highest being a level 35, I've never even seen the mobs, looked for a coffer, nor even gotten the quests for the AFs. I could use help with that, if I could get someone from every job to write a detail description of the AF quest, and description of the mobs, etc etc.

I imagine that even though I'm the slowest to level, I'll prolly hit Ranger AF before anyone else, but going back to the previous discussion, I don't want anyone to rush it.

You're right, it would set us apart, or rather, will set us apart. But there really are lots of things I plan on putting up that will set us apart. Truthfully, a lot of the information I'll be posting is already somewhere else, here and there, but scattered. I want to offer all of the information in a one-stop info shop. The hardest part is getting all of the information gathered together, sorting it for accuracy, and formatting it for the site. But I'm trying.

And updating won't be perfectly often at first for recipes and items. I intend on putting up the fullest information I can find at first, and once static pages are all up, then start doing regular updates. In the beginning, I'm filling the holes.

I kinda meant that a lot of use who has done AF or in the process of doing AF should keep detailed information about it so that we can put together the guides.

I have quite a bit of information about the Samurai AF from my own experience and from what I found scattered on the web.

I welcome any walk-thrus for the AFs. I welcome any content anyone wants to add. I'm a little slow, but I promise I do try. I'm hoping I make it to the Ranger AF first, but there are tons of other things I ned to get on top of.

If anyone is interested in doing the AFs write ups, please be as detailed as possible, with things like co-ords when you have to go somewhere special, and details about the monsters in particular that have to be fought, as well as background dangers, such as what mobs normally spawn in the AF fight area. The more information you offer, the more helpful a walk-thru is.
