Easy Skill Ups - found on VN boards

Although i didn't write this, i have used it, and it has helped a great deal. Typically this guide should be more aimed toward PL you woodcrafting skill, more than to make money.

Make sure to always use advance imgery, when crafting for skill ups. Also to start writing down recipes post 40 skill, because the net is currenlty lacking alot.

Arrowood lumber (skill: 0-4)
Arrowood log + Wind crystal

Ash lumber (skill: 4-8)
Ash log + Wind crystal

Willow lumber (skill: 8-13)
Willow log + Wind crystal

Willow wand (skill: 13-14)
Willow lumber + Insect wing + Wind crystal

Maple sugar (skill: 14-21)
Maple log + Lightning Crystal

Silver arrows (skill: 21-29)
Silver arrowheads + Ash lumber + Yagudo fletchings + Earth crystal

Beetle arrows (skill: 29-39)
Beetle arrowheads + Arrowood lumber + Chocobo fetchings + Earth crystal

Horn arrows (skill: 39-49)
Horn arrowheads + Arrowood lumber + Bird fletchings + Earth crystal

Scorpion arrows (skill:49-59)
Scorpion arrowheads + Arrowood lumber + Insect fletchings + Earth crystal

Chest (skill:59-?)
2x Luan lumber + 3x Rattan lumber + Earth crystal

Im am now rising very slowly because I don't know where to buy rattan lumber except off the AH. I know rattan lumber sells in a Port Bastok off of Dhen Teuryukoh, (conquest merchant), however on my server (Fairy), Bastok doesn't own Elshimo highlands.

I've been following this formula for leveling up my Woodworking.

My only comments are that you MIGHT want to find something else to get you from 29-34 and from 39-44.

From 29-34 your failure rate on Beetle Arrows is kinda high, and you don't get any skill-ups from your failures. The same holds true for Horn arrows from 39-44.

I'm currently 42 Woodworking... I'm just doing Horn arrows, but kinda wish I'd done something else from 39 to where I am now. I had a lot of failures.

While you are at it, why not make holy/acid/bloody bolts from 13 to 16? Instead of maple sugar, which is a big time money-suck, you can be making ammo which actually gives you a slight profit (or break-even returns) if you sell if to the AH, or you can give it to your friends that use crossbows :) .

with regards to Rattan Lumber, when needed I buy mine from Port Bastok area, but this is only when Bastok own a certain territory/area themselves. So mostly its not that available, but its worth getting a few stacks when available. Try and google:
