So I'm looking through message boards and someone posts something funny as hell:
1) Go to google.com
2) Type in Failure
3) Click "I'm feeling lucky"
4) Laugh your *** off.

{Hmm.}
I'm not going to yell. But I'm going to black out my response, so if you highlight it, read it, and don't like it, don't go whinin' to the Admin.
I would like to point out however, that this google-bombing was most likely done by a) liberal wakkos who are wasting their time with pranks like this while simultaneously losing all sense of reality as their political party sinks further into obscurity; b) 14 year-olds who have no clue about politics, and have what little they think they "know" about politics spoon-fed to them by a grossly biased media, c) foreigners who have neither the insight into American politics nor the business meddling there in the first place, or d) all of the above.
And yes, it's funny. And no, a liberal will never win an argument about politics with me. Trick is, I know what the hell I'm talking about.

Pssh. I passed this along to everyone on my e-mail list with a sense of humor. Whether you agree or not, it makes for the best joke of the day.

I like pancakes... but...."And no, a liberal will never win an argument about politics with me. Trick is, I know what the hell I'm talking about."
Don't fall into the Rush Limbaugh political hack mentality that all liberals don't know what they are talking about, and that liberals can't "win" arguments because all conservative arguments are logical, while liberal arguments are based on "feeling".
A) Not all arguments are "winnable" a Pro-Choice and a Pro-Life advocate can argue forever and never agree. There is no "correct" or "winning" argument for some issues.
B) There are plenty of wacko-conservatives out there, enough to match the wacko-liberals. I put Pat Robertson, Michael Savage and Ann Coulter at the top of the list.
C) I know what I'm talking about too. I'm liberal, and I'm certainly not "wacko" just for being such. :)

Are you using the google toolbar, or actually going to www.google.com ?
You have to go to the site itself for it to work.

Waffles, imo.
You're a diamond in the rough. Someone on the left who will talk about ideas, and not about politics.
See, the thing with conservatives is that we aren't used to that. A lot of our energy gets spent on debunking the tall tales that the media puts out, and playing the politics game against opponents, who well, just aren't rationally thinking people (and by that I mean the far-left kooks in control of the Democratic Party). But damn we love it when we find someone willing to talk about the ideals and applications of government in a straightforward no BS manner, and not "politics," which is, unfortunately, the only thing we ever get to talk about.
All humorous rebuttals aside, I'd honestly love to be able to talk about ideas with a self-espoused liberal. Can we start with this theory of income redistribution? Because that's one I've never heard a remotely rational explanation of.
