i didn't feel like looking up what the code at the end said for the wires so i just picked red and i blew up
then i picked black and i blew up
so i picked black again...and i blew up
maybe i'll go look up the code, looks like hex, not sure i didn't really look at it, i just said "i'm too lazy to go look that up"

I hate myself that it took me so long to figure out the part of the puzzle in binary. I used to be able to do binary no problem :(

I blew up =/
I guess that's what i get for doing this during work and having my supervisor come in and out while im trying to diffuse >_<
**SPOILERS**
Anyway i think the patterns for the 1st code is just to guess the right combo. The 2nd one was the missing keys. The pattern is that all of the keypads in a row and column have to add up to 15. and the last puzzle is in Binary. All the switches are in powers of 2. that's about it.

I really have to wonder what exactly wimp.com is. All I know is that the censorware at work tags it as "PORN". :frustrate

I still have not figured out the last part of the puzzle, where you have to determine which wire to cut. How do you solve that? I guessed (since you have a 50/50 shot at it). I can explain the numpad puzzle if someone wants a spoiler.

Spoiler in black below:
It says something like FF0000 = AAxBBxCC and 000000 = XXxYYxZZ. When specifying colors in RGB (Red-green-blue) format, in images, paint programs, programming, websites, etc.... the FF0000 = red, and 000000 = black. (FF = full brightness, and it's in the "R" position.) Anyway.... then you just multiply AA, BB, and CC... and thus Red = that #. Same for black. The cover thingy also says which to cut. It basically spells out the # for you there at that point.

i survived with 10:34 to spare
i cant get the page to dispay; ;
a hint on what wire to cut:
the F's and O's are codes for colours. use photoshop or another image editing program to figure it out. id give you hints on the others, but i dont want to be chased out with pitchforks and turned into <tarutaru> <meatdishes>
