Ok as I was getting rank 8 tonight, Doomsday helped me b/c he couldnt find anyone to help him get his WSNM in Bost. the area under Sandoria. The allaince said that it would be a possiblity to do it after we all get rank 8. Well...that didnt happen, and so I'd like to call this mini-event day for him since he's been trying hard to get this for about 5 days now, and that he works on the weekends and probably can do it as a normal event day. Now I'm gonna have to limit this one to 60+ b/c of the area and the NM. 60- isnt going to do much and u need really about 2-3 groups 65+. what we are going to do is meet in jueno around 7pm CST. then shout for others to help due to the fact that we dont have enough ppl in the LS to help w/ this. Hopefully other ppl 70+ will see that we have ppl willing to do this and will be more likely to help him, making a good alliance. I expect this to take a few hours, hopefully no more than 3, but you never know. Now I dont know anythign about this mob besides that its a Bones mob. Dooms is gathering all information for this. Now i'm not really gonna expect alot of ppl to show, but it would be real nice if we could help Doom out. I for one will be there on Thursday to help him. And if we get dont early, I wouldnt mind helping Vade or Boilon camp that jelly that drops the jelly ring, but that will come after the WSNM. Thats all i have now, post any questions, ideas, comments, etc. I'm going to bed now.

Hmm, probably can't go due to helping move in my roommate to our new apt. I'll be in College Station all day. Then, I'm going to move in on Saturday. :( But if I'm there...we should help Doomsday also finish SM7-1 which takes an alliance of 12. :) Jelly rings sound good though. ^^ But I'll try my damnedest to be home early enough to help out on Thursday. If not, good luck. ^^

No apologies needed Shido youve helped more than anybody else has with this. This has probably been the most frustrating thing for me ever in this game, cuz it requires so many high lvl ppl to do and most high lvlers are usually xping, or doing missions, and unable to help. So I appreciate you trying to set this up for me. Last night after you logged off, i went to bostaneiux and checked out where the nm is, was very easy to get to, just need silent oil or sneak before everybody drops down the sewer(there are easy prey slimes, to me at lvl 71, right as you drop down, and they dont like pesky adventurers. Now, i found out the reason why so many are needed for this. In the room where the ??? is there are 3 leeches(not of the nice variety either) and they are Decent challenge to me, so we would have to take those out first. After that i think the nm will be easy. Anyways, ill keep you informed on my situation with this, i might try to get an alliance to do sm7-1 which is in the same place, and hopefully while doing that we can take out the nm. If that doesnt work, well i guess well try our luck on thursday.

Forming alliances is definitely not easy in this game, and at the 70+ level FFXI really does become an alliance game rather then a 6 person PT game. I'd like to help but my schedule seems to be off from you guys during the weekday, so if its on a weekend I'd be able to help more. This would also be a great tier 1 event because it's challenging even for 12 70+.

I've done a number of WSNMs and typically a lot of time is spent just getting the group together. What usually happens is one person has a few people to help him with a WSNM and they hook up with another group doing another WSNM. Eventually, an alliance comes together, but sometimes that takes hours even though the fight only lasts 10 minutes. I think that's why its usually harder to get a group for it during a weeknight since by the time the PT forms, people are falling asleep. >_<

Spending time in Jeuno helps since other groups will often be there shouting for WSNM PTs. I think we should try to get the LS together to help Doom. We don't have the number of bodies to do it ourselves, but we can form a good foundation to start getting other people.

For any WSNM, i'd suggest at least 10 level 70+.

What type of NM is the Hand-to-Hand one? This is one I haven't done and wouldn't mind participating to see what it's like.

Count me in. (lvl 72 whm atm yay for raise III ^^) I hear that this wsnm is kinda nasty. Try to get a few mnks thrown in and maybe a brd. (you all know how much I like a good brd) It is a good time for the event for me since it will be after work.

Off topic, Just wondering how I might go about posting an event (WM 7-1 & 7-2) for this Friday ~6PM (PST) lvl req. 60+ (mage type can be slightly lower but not by much) Trying for full alliance, melee be sure to bring powder and oil (just in case).

funny but i think i may be getting an event for WM7-1/2 at around same time either friday or sometime on the weekend because thers quite a few in LS that need it but waiting for takk,lyramion and maybe vanstrider to get there if they can hehe so i dont have to leave them behind ; ;

Well we can definately scratch this event, cuz i got it done last night :). I helped Shido and others with BM 8-1and2 so some ppl stayed and helped me with wsnm afterward. I know alot of ppl got dced at once so thats prolly why shido didnt stay(I understand it was late for you np, just glad you got rank 9). We did it with 11 ppl and it wasnt too bad. So everybody if you see these ppl, tell them thx(Permities, Memphis, Angeliene, Valkry, Bick, Amgunit, Yoshii, Vizions, and Hobbes.) I am looking forward to helping ls members in the future with these WSNMs so that they dont have to go through the same thing i had to. As far as events go, keep me posted as to when you guys that just did zm4 last night are going to do zm5 :), id love to do that.

grats doom! I was looking forward to this mini event but I am sure there will be more to come. Maybe when I do my WM 7-1/7-2 I'll get to interact a little more w/ my new linkshell mates.
