I thought I might start up a thread for people to sign up for avatar runs. Now that I have completed Fenrir I can do a set of avatar runs every day (except fenrir). If we get a set of 6 members (linkshell prefered) that would be interested in this we could 'static' and earn 10k per avatar per day....(if you all don't feel like doing the math thats 60k/day * x days o.O) As we get better at these this could be a very quick way to earn some gil. For those who simply need/want the avatar or item you are more than welcome to post here as well.

sign me up. ive had all my tuning forks since march or so. ive done titan and garuda once, but have those forks ready for whispers this time around. btw, i might wanna try out one lvl 20 avatar fight i get a pair of lvl 20 carby mitts this weekend. that would be nice to see carby fight with no mp loss againt the an avatar prime. (but i wanna kill em all the old way too ^^ )

Oh, and I do not have any Windurst fame, so I can't get any Avatars that involve Windurst fame.

I can get: Shiva, Garuda, The one from Bastok (Still haven't gotten my fork for that one.), and Leviathan.

Well one avatar tour run down, many more to come. Fun stuff and pretty profitable. Few kinks and setbacks but we are learnin ^^ If you would like to join in, here are a few requirements:

1) min lvl 65 (avatars can be done earlier than this but for the sake of speed)
-exceptions- a smn in the making (5 ppl lvl 70+ can win for you with ease)

2) have all forks on you (no partial runs as it messes with the timing)

3) have all GC (/slap if you don't have them all by now...)

4) have FUN!

PS: fenrir fight is not included on avatar tour but as a 'tier 1' type event I will be getting a group together for it soon (the things I do for vile..)

special note for shido - get your drk sub lvled up so you can solo fenrir for us!

my lvl exception was for you ^^ your close enough to come if you are still interested and meet the other reqts. (I love rdms!) Congrats on your lvl 20 avatars. I went through a lot of gil and time to get mine done...

yep 6/6 I died twice from 2hrs but I always have reraise III up. (personally 60k gil is well worth 500xp lost) Tiny taru don't play well with avatars when they are mad. I gotta learn to stay back ^^; We are getting much quicker and more efficient at it. (set all new records cause of the maintenance!) Tried for Fenrir but we were not prepaired well enough and had to escape from the BC when the nin died like 15 sec into fight.... There is always a next time.

tonight is not a good night for an avatar run since I did not have time to turn in my forks since it was WAY past my bed time by the time fenrir kicked our butt (need 1 rl day to get new forks after prize obtained) also I believe another dynamis windy is planned for tonight. As for future runs, <tarutaru> <yes please> ^^ Once you are done w/ the whispers (for fenrir i'm assuming) you will need to meet the 65 reqt. to do the runs for pure gil or items.

ah ok, didnt realize there was an actual game requirement for items and gil, but hey, im as close to 65 as i can get now. this way ill have 1 whole lvl to go into the fenrir fight..and probably get my @$$ kicked in.

oh, and since u cant do avatars tonight, interested in joining me to get rank5 in bastok(or sandy, but i believe ur high rank in sandy already)

im rank 1.0 right now in those cities. figure we should try to get 6 of us so we can fly right on thru 3-3 dragon fight. heck we could both use our carby mitts in that fight.

nah no game reqt. you can do this as a lvl 1 char if your pt is kind enough to take ya and let you leech and you have fame for the forks. It's just my own personal thing. At higher lvls you pull less aggro and it makes it simpler to get to the zones and get the fights done with asap. I'm sure other ppl will be more than happy to take a lvl 60 some char on an avatar run but for the purpose of group I put together we want quick gil with little effort ^^. As for Fenrir fight I'm thinking we will need a 75 rdm.... or at least one w/ a drk sub.

I could totally use a good tank with fame! I'll keep an eye out for you on weekends. FYI tanks less than 70 occasionally die to avatar 2 hr but I'll be there to raise 3 you ^^

Will get higher eventually but I'm also hanging out with my sweetheart (56 BRD) as a SAM sometimes so don't expect me to get crazy high anytime soon.

I'm glad to see more people are working to get their fame up to participate in these avatar runs. (must have minimum fame to pick up all forks) It's fun with a fresh set of people, great way to get to know each other as you travel around. As always, if you are interested in some avatars drop me a tell in game and we can set something up.

Ya, I would like to come as well but I didn't feel like I was very useful at all in the runs, other then being a backup healer with a pet that does damage in the single digits. This may be different now that I'm level 60 (well was level 60 til yesterday :grin:) with IV spells but I'll join as a filler, I get Fenrir(hopefully), or get at least level 70 where I can do some sort of damage with the level 70 BPs.

Well it was lots of fun helping out with the Leviathan run, so I'm definitely up for doing them.

I'm not sure what the fame requirements are for the forks though... I have max Sandoria fame, mid-level Windurst fame (4 I think, perhaps 5 but it's unlikely) and no clue about my Bastok fame. My Tenshodo was high enough to do Leviathan.

I don't know much about the Prime quests since I'm not a summoner, LOL so I don't know what quests that means I could join in on.

Granted, at only a level 50 Ranger, I wouldn't be essential to the party, but it'd be fun to tag along :)

The only avatar i need is fenrir and i can bring a 66 SMN or 72 BST to the fight... i know you said fenrir but i figured this would be a good place to post which avatar i need >.>;
