pol update problems

Anyone else having really screwy thinks with the pol update?

ive downloaded both the pol and ffxi patches, but when i login to pol now, it takes about 10 mins to get to the opening login page...and all them menus are red background on red text....not pretty at all, and im quite sure not intended by SE. just hoping its not only myself with this problem, because SE wont care if its just me ; ;

Most likely its temporary. I've seen it once before too, and it seems that when their system gets bogged down, a few graphic interefaces get screwy until server load balances out. If you can even get on, then I'd say hold off before assuming anything is totally wrong until either you just can't logg on or the problem persists past today.
