That is an issue with the language in the message you are sending.

vBulletin has some "anti-hacker" coding, which prevents spam viruses from using vBulletin as an e-mail server. There are certain php command that use normal language, and these hackers can text a message to "trick" a php program into creating and sending e-mail messages for them. so vBulletins makes these keywords FORBIDDEN to use in posts and messages.

Basically, it's like one of the words in your post or message hit a spam blocker.

If you want the easy fix use the italics brackets as in "[ i ][ / i ]" without the spacing. Copy that code and paste it in the middle of any word that looks like it might be a php command. A example:

Hey,

How are you? I haven't gotten any upd[ i ][ / i ]ate from you on what happened la[ i ][ / i ]st night. Before the ser[ i ][ / i ]ver cras[ i ][ / i ]h, I rece[ i ][ / i ]ived a pri[ i ][ / i ]vate mes[ i ][ / i ]sage from the e-[ i ][ / i ]m[ i ][ / i ]ail se[ i ][ / i ]rver saying the syst[ i ][ / i ]em was going to go do[ i ][ / i ]wn for a while. But I remember you were still in the mid[ i ][ / i ]dle of the co[ i ][ / i ]unting se[ i ][ / i ]quence and might have gotten in[ i ][ / i ]terrupted by the po[ i ][ / i ]wer ou[ i ][ / i ]tage. Let me know if you had any suc[ i ][ / i ]cess in the tra[ i ][ / i ]nsfer.

The message would read visibly as:

Hey,

How are you? I haven't gotten any update from you on what happened last night. Before the server crash, I received a private message from the e-mail server saying the system was going to go down for a while. But I remember you were still in the middle of the counting sequence and might have gotten interrupted by the power outage. Let me know if you had any success in the transfer.

There's no telling was words or phrases cause the FORBIDDEN message, so my best advice is just to spam the italics code throughout your message til the FORBIDDEN error goes away.
