You mean like Crystal Chronicles? Because that was clearly just a rehash of other FF games...

Nintendo has always been great for multiplayer games with minimal bar to entry. I'm a PC guy at heart and haven't owned a Nintendo console since the NES, but I gotta respect what they're trying to do.
