Hi everyone
Been a long time since there's been a fun ls event and with the recent recruits, thought i'd take this opportunity to host a death race so everyone can gather and get to know each other better ^^
Detail of the race are as follow
Time:
Saturday 9th October 10pm est
Starting Place:
Rabao
Level Restriction:
Any job from level 1 - level 8
(I know some players dont have a level 1 job, so I'm making this a multi level race. Dont think having a lvl 8 job will be to your advantage, as you'll find out the reason below)
Racing Route:
From Rabao - West/East Altepa Desert - Korroloka Tunnel - Bastok - South/North Gustaburg - Pashhow Marshland - Rolanberry Field - Jeuno - Rulude Garden - Final destination is Maat.
Specific details:
You must first buy yourself a Venom Potion (this will be your entry fee, per se), or a couple more if you are using a higher lvl job. Instant Reraise scroll is optional.
NO Silent Oil or Prism Powder allowed.
Home Point must first be set in Rabao, but as you move through the zones, you are allowed to set your home points along the route if the area is under your nation's control. If you die, you can HP and start again, but no outside help will be allowed, i.e. someone raising you, if some strangers were kind enough to raise you along the way, you must NOT accept the raise, (instant Reraise excepted) Don't try to cheat, as I'm sure the others in your vincinity will rat you out if they see u get a raise ^^. To actually win the race, not only will you need to reach Maat first, but upon reaching Maat, you will need to take your Venom Potion in front of him (I'll be standing there to verify) The first person that drops dead in front of Maat will win the race. So having a lvl 8 job will definitely take longer to die and 1 venom potion may not even be enough, so buy your potions according to your hp.
Prize:
This will be a winner takes all contest. The winner will receive 100,000 gil, the rest will get a /comfort from me
Hope you all can join in this race, especially with all the new recruits recently, this will be a good chance to mingle with everyone on the ls and should be exercised as a bonding session.
