ok, I was reading over this BCNM and it's eeassy peeassy (taru speak: easy)

here's the rundown:

In this BCNM30, the battle is capped at 30, but only 3
people are allowed in. Here you face one opponent: A
giant Crawler named Bitoso. He can cure himself, uses
Paralyzga, all the regular crawler abilities, and has
lots of HP. If you can bring him down you get a
treasure crate.


I have my Ranger and apparently this can be done with just 2 people. Ranger and Thief. yup, don't believe it? Watch this video

I don't know when exactly and i need to work on my marksmanship a little more so it can be capped but otherwise lets go for it! :)

Nice... may wanna bold the Magician's Earring also (+30 MP with SMN sub) since it was 300k when I bought mine a few months ago. Hearler's Earring nothing to sneeze at either at 60k (enmity-1 with WHM sub). A LOT of good reasons to do this BCNM (and level up RNG >_<)

The key to the fight shown in the video is the additional effect of sleeping that their weapon gives and Utsusemi allowed to keep damage to a minimum.

The alternative strategy is to aspir away all of its MP (it has a limited supply) so that it cannot cure itself then kill away until it is dead. This is how Ket, Mel and I beat it a long time ago.

I've been wanting to do a BCNM 30 since forever but I {Paladin} am worthless in this particular fight!

I've been wanting to do Horlais Peak BCNM 30 "Carapace Combatants" because this particular fight has 2 foes, 1 that needs to be slept *the non caster one* and tanked *the caster beetle*

If everyone does this and uses up their seals Celestraeh will never get her Mercenary's Earring!

Ok, I tried this with a friend. We were

Ranger/nin and Ranger/nin

Both of us had Zamburak +1 and sleep bolts
Archer's knives... and the rest of Rng gear

Was a VERY easy fight. Had to alternate fire to keep him asleep constantly.
DO NOT BARRAGE/USE WS!!! It will wake it.

Just shoot...took us about 8 mins to kill it.

BUT!: the drops sucks but REALLY do... /cry

We did 4 runs and got stuff worth 20k (all 4 runs added up).

I really really really want a Genin Earring, and would love to try this with somebody. I have Marksmanship capped, so we could do the RNG/NIN, RNG/NIN setup if you like.

I also have an orb for BCNM 30 already in my mog house ready to go. I would only need to buy the Crossbow, and I'd be all set.
