this is my <long time> friend, ive known him since we were kids, he does AMVs in his extremely abundant freetime, im very impressed by what he does, a few of them are award winners

Kida, you were just in Japan.....you should know better than to just throw that word around. There's no way ANYONE on this site is true Otaku. (Especially if you visited Akihabara [Which I know you did])

As for the AMVs, I'll probably get a chance to sit down and watch them at work today (I hope).

Some good ones is Chronicles of Ghibli and Knights of Fate. Both you can get at animemusicvideos.com. I saw these two when I went to Sakuracon early April.
