Ok, here is some info I've found. We will use this thread as a posting of what we know about Einherjar:
Wing I:
-Consists of Three rooms. All three must be cleared to move on to Wing II.
-In Wing I there is a random selection of 6 bosses. And a random selection of 10 different types of mobs.
- Sac pulls and avatar pulls will work, but once the members have engaged the mobs, they all coming running. There is clearly a shared hate.
-At this point all that we have seen drop from Wing I for abjurations is Feet and hands.
-Rumour has it that the Mega Boss has Reraise on them. This has yet to be confirmed. Although it has been confirmed that one or two of them can steal your buffs. So it seems always best to dispel all their buffs.
-Rumour also has it that the random tiger or bird that spawns and then runs off may either do one of the two things. 1) Removes the tp moves of the boss or his regen. 2) Will stop the mobs from linking with you attack one.
----------------------------------------------------------------
With that being said I was reading a very intersting idea on the forums.
Just a idea that might or might not work.
What about entering with 6 parties, no alliances. First (main) party pulls 1 mob of type A back to a safe area. Other 5 parties pull mobs out of the link and seperate so that groups are far enough appart that -ga spells are limited to 1 party. Finish off mob type A, repeat with mob B. Form 2 alliances to attack boss. IMO this would drop the spammed -ga's and seperate hate.
I like this idea. We should try this out and balance the parties. Each party will be responsible for a set amount of mobs and operate independently. Since getting 6 tanks might prove a little hard. Warriors might also be asked to tank. This means that they would need to focus on absorbing damage and use abilities that help improve their damage. We would also need more WHMs and BRDs and RDMs
In the next run we do. Lotting comments will be changed. So far we have yet to see anything other then Feet and Hands drop. This may change. But at this point, if you are looking for a certain drop in the hands/feet area...please comment which exact piece you're looking for and a secondary piece. This will be much like the mega boss style or rules...if no one has it claimed, a sack holder will call out Free Lot's.
