Oh wow I wonder why SE decided to update the NPC adventuring fellow after doing nothing for so long:
Adjustments and Additions to Fellows (02/26/2008)
Adjustments and additions to fellows have been scheduled for the next version update.
Some of these changes are as follows:
Magic and other abilities you use on party members will now also benefit the fellow you summoned.
Fellows will be able to use a greater variety of equipment.
Fellows will no longer use the following weapon skills: Spinning Attack, Cyclone, Circle Blade, Shockwave, Spinning Scythe, Earth Crusher.
i wonder if they increase the areas you can use your fellow or maybe add a quest or something to be able to use your fellow in goddess or ToAU

I'm hoping for higher lv cap & mabye they fixed it so they can use the lv65 weaponskills that people dont get @lv65 due to the A or A- combat rating i.e. Spinning slash ect... The new armor I wouldnt care about i like how mine looks atm. But anything is an improvement even though its been so long.

lego they have always been able to use the lvl 65 WS... fellows have an A+ rating in all weapons no matter what "style" you have them set for, they can use all WS except the quested one

I know I have seen NPCs do Tachi: Kasha before or am I just crazy?

You're crazy...but they could do that weapon skill as well. :lafflaff:
Ooops!
Time to level Feliz (my NPC) from 62 to 65 before the update!
Who knows what exciting (TM) things could now he do? :P
(I know it won't be anything excited but oh well).
What I would like most:
1. Ability to summon NPC to any area (including Aht Urhgan and WoTG... probably BCs as well? Pipe dreams...).
2. Give mage-NPC ability to Raise you! (yeah, right :P)
3. NPC level cap to 75!
What I wouldn't like:
1. New NPC quests that would take forever to complete! Like travel around all Vana'diel as in the previous ones... eeeek.

besides the quested/relic ws, fellowships can not use hexastrike, even being well over the skill level.

I had my npc @65 using GS for the longest time & would never use Spinning slash so I moved to GKT

I just need to npc it up when I am soloing on BST in The Boyahda Tree.
I do get a big kick out of seeing /bst get eaten alive in the tree by fungars and spiders which was almost as much fun as the pld/bst that zoned every mob in the Toraimarai Canal. Which is stupid because they should just go to the Junger Forest (S) and campaign it up for better exp.
